The team contains a range of roles to clearly delineate responsibilities. You can find the available roles and their associated task description below.
Team manager:
You lead the overall team. Ideally, you are a more senior student with some experience in group work.
Your main job is to monitor the overall process: is everybody contributing as they should, and is everybody still happy? You arrange and lead joint meetings with the whole team.
AI engineer (~8x):
You form the core technical backbone of the team.
You implement and test new AI solutions on proposed projects. This involves finding new ML solutions, implementing these, debugging, running experiments, analyzing results and iterating these processes. This builds on the technical knowledge you obtained during your course work, but you may also learn along the way from other team members and supervisors.
Internal coordinator:
You lead the internal operational side of the project.
You take care of rooms, agendas, notes, drinks, the website, etc. Together with the external coordinator, you also work on (public) events for the team.
External coordinator:
You lead the external operational side of the project.
You scout for potentially interesting projects (e.g., with other research departments in the university) and sponsors of the team. You also take care of public communication, for example through the university network, media, and (public) events.
Staf supervisor:
The staff supervisor is available for advice and support from the institute/faculty side.
